Who owns SN Media and how is it funded?
SN Media is independent, and our editorial decisions are made independently of commercial and political interests. Our ownership and funding are set out on our Editorial Standards page.
Is SN Media politically independent?
Yes. Our editorial judgement is not directed by any political party, government or advertiser. Where a relationship could be read as a conflict, we disclose it, and we keep opinion clearly separated from reporting.
How we report
HOW WE REPORTHow does SN Media source and verify its journalism?
We draw on publicly available reporting, statements and documents, compare how multiple outlets covered the same event, and separate repeated claims from confirmed facts. Our full approach is on the Editorial Standards page.
Does SN Media use AI to produce its journalism?
Yes — we use AI-assisted systems, supervised by editors, to monitor a wide range of public sources and to draft coverage within our standards. Editors set the rules those systems follow, monitor what they produce, and correct or remove anything that falls short. The editorial responsibility remains ours.
What is the difference between your news, analysis and opinion?
Straight reporting sets out what happened. Analysis explains why it matters and what context was missing. Opinion reflects the views of its author. Analysis and opinion are labelled as such and kept distinct from reporting.
How do I report an error or request a correction?
Use our corrections route and mark your message “Correction”. We review every good-faith report, correct confirmed errors promptly, and note material changes.

How do I subscribe to or unsubscribe from the newsletter?
Subscribe from the newsletter page or the sign-up box in our footer. To unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or email us and we’ll remove you.

Email editorial@snmedia.com for editorial and media inquiries, or use our contact page for anything else. We read every message and respond as quickly as we can.

How do I access or delete my personal data?
